REFOREST THE FOREST CITY
The Rockford Park District invites you to help restore and grow our tree canopy!
The Emerald Ash Borer and Mother Nature have jeopardized the “Forest City.”
We have lost thousands of trees in the last several years, which translates to hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.
Our goal is to plant 200 trees per year in parks where the trees have been removed.
Donate $25 or more, and be a part of the Community Tree Planting day in the fall and spring.
As the trees you helped plant grow, they will help beautify our city, provide oxygen, improve air quality, conserve water, preserve soil, and support wildlife.
Together, we can have a positive lasting impact in our community.
Care for, conserve, and enrich the planet.
